The Visby Cathedral (Sankta Maria domkyrka) on Gotland, Sweden, consecrated in 1225 as the church for German Hanseatic merchants. It is the only surviving medieval church in Visby (the city of ruins) still in regular use. The Cathedral features distinct towers with baroque cupolas that were added late and stands in a UNESCO World Heritage–listed Hanseatic town
